Foreign translators who are already translating Brazilian works can apply for this program in order to cover residence costs in Brazil. Annually a public notice is launched containning all the information about the registrations.
The professionals are invited to take an immersion in the Brazilian culture, focusing on their work demands. They also attend workshops, lectures, courses and other activities promoted by cultural and education institutions in partnership with the Brazilian National Library (BN).
