Initiated in 2013, the PNAP-R grants scholarships for doctors, Brazilians and foreigners, for the development of research projects, in book format, on a residence system at the National Library (BN).
Through the public notice annually launched, individual and original works in any area of knowledge can be registered, since they have as a basic object of research pieces or collections of BN Heritage.
The scholarships granted to the authors of the selected projects last 12 (twelve) months from the signature of the contract between BN and the beneficiary. The scholarship contracts can be extended up to 6 (six) months without any change of the scholarship research monetary value.
